Beyond emotional support, pet parenting yields proven physical and mental health benefits, such as encouraging outdoor exercise and boosting socialization, which can significantly improve quality of life.
Animals for Elders funds adoption fees, veterinary care, and ongoing qualifying expenses of up to $ 1,500 per year to provide financial support and minimize monetary obstacles for elders seeking in-home pet companionship.
